Zhi "Albert" Li is a Ph.D. candidate in Civil Engineering at RMIT University, focusing on structural topology optimization and computational design, with a full scholarship starting in October 2020. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Environment Design from Tianjin University (2014–2018). Professionally, he has experience as a Research and Development Engineer, Software Developer, and Computational Designer. Notably, he contributed to the development of the topology optimization software Ameba. He has also published six Q1 journal articles on structural design and computational methods and presented his work at international conferences.
